Jersey dress code

i was chatting with mo monk when one of my co-worker passed by my cube. i usually don't pay attention who passes by but this one was unnoticeable. i could not belive my eyes: she wore a red bright top which looked like this(this is a bad picture because the girl is too hot to compare with my co-worker) but only instead, she's ugly and in her fifties. on top of her rediculous christmas costume, she wore stinky perfume...yack!
i am going to throw up....

LAY ME off

the 29-oct nytimes article mentioned that my company might lay off workers to cut cost. i hope wonder if i would be one of them. i'd be nice to receive a severance package before i leave the finance industry voluntarily.

day of horror (part i)

today, T-5 (five business days before the month-end) marked the beginning of my busy week. i got up at 06:45 to go to work because i needed to prepare the month-end files.

to make it worse, my colleague supervisor was on paternity leave so i had to cover his work. the work was tedious because i had to compile a large amount of data into different excel spreadsheets. usually, i had more than ten files opened at a time. anyway, on this very special day, my excel wasn't working properly because a change in the server had disabled all macros...

(now my brain is dead; can't write anymore)

to be continued

Quarterly stuff meeting

i had a deadly two hours stuff meeting yesterday. i've tried very hard to stay awake during this boring meeting - meditating, think of something exciting, writing for this blog.... it was so hard not to fall asleep...
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!!!!!!!! i wanted to scream in the meeting room. what's up with jersey fashion? it's only 12 miles away from timesquare and people there dress like early 80's or mid west! they do look like they are from mid west: tartan check shirts, their stomach sticking up, pink face like KKK, no color coordination, etc... i felt like throwing up in the meeting, seriously... one co-worker was wearing a purple jacket with black polka dots (where does she buy her clothes!!!) and the worst was one of a manager (mid 40's) who thought she was hot enough to wear a mini skirt. please! have some respect at work!!! i so did not wanted to see her disgusting fat legs, but she's in my sight if i look at the speaker.
there was a cocktail hour after the meeting, but there is no way i was drinking with those rednecks!!!

in order to begin

there are four main categories to bitch about your marvelous job(s).

1. people (including your bosses, co-workers and clients)
2. time/location (how many hours do to have to work? and how many hours do to have to spend to GET to work? is your office [assuming that you work in an office] located in a shithole undesirable area?)
3. money (no explaination is needed for this one. is your job paying you enough to maintain YOUR standard of living?)
4. the job itself (are you capable of doing the job?)
